Aurix Community Guidelines
Version 2026-10-18-v2. Effective 18 October 2026.
Aurix welcomes creativity, gaming, music, conversation and different points of view. These rules apply to videos, audio, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, comments, playlists, profiles, banners and channel links, including unlisted and private uploads. They work alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Protect children and young people
Do not upload or link to child sexual abuse material, sexualised depictions of minors, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking or content that facilitates exploitation. This includes synthetic, altered or animated depictions that sexualise children. Do not request private sexual contact with young people or share information that puts a child at risk.
Non-sexual family, educational and gaming content involving young people can be allowed when it respects their safety, privacy and applicable permission requirements. Accounts are for people aged 13 or older, subject to stricter local requirements. Report suspected underage accounts or child safety concerns without publicly identifying a child. Never download, repost or attach illegal sexual material to a report; provide the Aurix link and a description of the concern.
2. Keep sexual content off Aurix
Do not post pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexual services, non-consensual intimate imagery or sexualised thumbnails. Do not post intimate images of someone without their consent, including convincing synthetic images. Aurix does not currently provide an adult-content section or age-restricted playback tools, so do not upload material that relies on those protections to be suitable.
Non-explicit health, educational, artistic or documentary discussion may be allowed when its presentation and thumbnail are appropriate for a general 13+ audience. Context is considered, but a disclaimer does not excuse exploitation or explicit material.
3. Avoid violence and dangerous encouragement
Do not threaten credible harm, promote terrorism or violent extremism, recruit for violent groups, glorify real abuse or post graphic real-world violence for shock or celebration. Do not encourage suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, dangerous challenges or instructions intended to cause serious injury. Do not sell or facilitate illegal weapons or other prohibited goods.
Fictional and gaming violence, news reporting, recovery stories and non-graphic educational discussion can be allowed with appropriate context. Make clear when footage is fictional. Do not present a real threat as a joke or use a title or thumbnail to disguise prohibited material. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; an Aurix report is not an emergency response service.
4. Respect people and communities
Do not target people with threats, stalking, sustained harassment, sexual harassment or coordinated abuse. Do not promote violence, dehumanisation or exclusion against people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity. Do not organise raids against a person or channel.
Disagreement, criticism, satire, discussion of public conduct and quoting harmful language to explain or challenge it can be allowed when the context is clear. Critique ideas and actions without directing abuse at a person or encouraging others to harm them. A claim of humour or satire does not excuse threats or targeted harassment.
5. Protect privacy and be honest about identity
Do not publish another person's passwords, private contact details, financial information, identity documents, precise private location or other information that exposes them to harm without a lawful basis and appropriate permission. Do not covertly share intimate or highly private recordings. Respect consent when recording or sharing identifiable people.
Do not impersonate a person, creator, company or Aurix staff. Fan, commentary and parody channels should make their identity clear. Do not use deceptive synthetic media to falsely depict a real person's harmful conduct or mislead people in a way likely to cause serious harm. Clearly label material alterations when people could reasonably mistake them for a real event.
6. No scams, spam or manipulation
Do not phish, distribute malware, steal accounts, run fraudulent giveaways or use deceptive links. Do not buy, sell or automate fake views, subscribers, reactions or ad interactions. Do not coordinate invalid ad activity, repeatedly post unwanted promotions, flood comments or use misleading titles and thumbnails to conceal the actual content.
Disclose paid promotions, sponsorships and material commercial relationships clearly where required. Do not make deceptive claims about products, income or Aurix earnings. Do not sell illegal goods or services. Useful links and ordinary promotion are allowed when they are relevant, accurate and do not overwhelm other people's conversations.
7. Respect copyright and other rights
Share content you created, have permission to use or can lawfully use under an applicable exception. Music, game footage, clips, artwork and performances can involve separate rights. Credit, a short duration or a statement such as "no infringement intended" does not by itself make a use lawful. Do not bypass technical protections or remove ownership information to facilitate infringement.
Rights holders and authorised representatives can send a detailed complaint to [email protected]. The copyright process and information to include are described in the Terms of Service. Other viewers may flag a concern using Report without claiming to own the rights. Aurix considers the specific content and context; an allegation alone is not a legal determination.
8. Follow restrictions and report responsibly
Do not evade an Aurix restriction by re-uploading the same prohibited material, editing around a hidden state, creating another account or recruiting other people to publish it. Do not make knowingly false reports or use reporting to intimidate someone. Good-faith mistakes and disagreements about a rule are not automatically report abuse.
Use Report on a video, comment or channel. Choose the closest reason, include relevant timestamps or context and avoid unnecessary personal information. You can track your submitted reports in Safety and appeals. If you do not have an account or cannot use the form, email [email protected]. Save safe links and relevant context when reporting a concern; do not collect or redistribute illegal material. You may also contact the appropriate local authorities where a crime or immediate danger is involved.
9. How review and appeals work
Reports enter a restricted operator queue, with child safety reports prioritised. Reports do not automatically restrict content. Human operators review context and can dismiss a report, hide content or a channel, or restore it. A channel restriction also removes its public videos, playlists and profile media and stops new publishing activity. Aurix uses Cloudflare-hosted AI to screen new videos, edited video details and thumbnails, and new comments before publication. Video screening checks metadata, a thumbnail when provided, three sampled frames and an independently generated audio transcript. Sampling cannot inspect every frame or detect every concern. Existing content is screened when edited; a report remains available for content not screened automatically. Clear results may be published automatically. Possible violations, uncertain results, unsupported audio languages and repeated service failures stay unpublished for human review. AI does not permanently delete content, make legal findings or override an existing human restriction. Aurix uses pending, allowed, restricted and rejected review states; rejection is a human decision. Turning off model calls does not automatically publish pending content.
Affected account holders can see the rule, decision and explanation in Studio > Safety and appeals. For automated restrictions they can request human review from that page. They can submit one appeal per restriction decision, explaining relevant context or a mistake. The result appears with the appeal. Contact the operator if new evidence becomes available or the account cannot be accessed. Restoring one item does not cancel another active restriction, and a newer decision must be considered separately.
Reporters can see whether their own report is open or resolved. They do not receive private creator account information or the operator's investigation records. Creators do not receive the reporter's identity or private report text through the notice or appeals interface. Legal disclosure requirements may still apply. Review is not guaranteed to be immediate or continuously staffed.
10. Context and updates
We consider educational, documentary, scientific and artistic context, public interest, intent, severity and repeated conduct. Context must be available in the content itself; hidden intent or a disclaimer cannot make child exploitation, credible threats or other serious harm acceptable. Ordinary gameplay, criticism and discussion are welcome within these rules.
New versions will state their effective date. Material updates that require agreement will ask account holders to accept the current version before continuing covered activity. Contact Reese Thompson (Myla) at [email protected] for policy questions or accessible alternatives.
